In a world first, Concept2 UK and Digital Rowing use the RowPro Online Rowing system to run the British Online Rowing Champs 2011 (also known as the BORC). In total 57 athletes from 10 countries competed online.
A special version of RowPro features in the RowBox at the World Rowing Championships at Lake Karapiro, New Zealand. This follows an 18-month worldwide tour by the RowBox to World Rowing Regattas at Henley UK, several locations around Europe, the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston USA, and many schools and rowing clubs around New Zealand.

Rowfile Library opens for saving and exchanging past workouts and races. Over the following years, tens of thousands of stroke-by-stroke results from CRASH-B and BIRC events become available in the Rowfile Library.
